Role summary

The Human resources Manager will establish and supervise all personnel processes for the new solar production operations plant, which includes hiring process, regulatory framework execution, workplace engagement, and staff planning.

Primary duties

• Set up Human resources frameworks, rules, and standardized processes from scratch.
• Head hiring process for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
• Lead employee orientation, development, and development programs.
• Oversee wage processing, perks, and HRIS operational structures.
• Promote positive workplace engagement and manage employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence with work legal provisions and rules.
• Carry out effectiveness appraisals and assist professional development.
• Formulate retention plans to reduce turnover.
• Track staff productivity and propose advancement strategies.
• Ensure alignment of Human resources procedures with business targets.
• Organize Human resources documentation and data analysis for management.
• Work alongside management on strategic staff planning.

Qualifications

• Bsc in HRM, Business, or relevant field.
• 5+ years Human resources expertise, ideally in production operations.
• Deep knowledge of Nigerian employment regulation.
• Expertise coordinating blue-collar workers.
• Outstanding corporate and management abilities.
• Robust interpersonal and dispute settlement abilities.
• Competence in HRIS and MS Workspace resources.
• CIPM accreditation is a plus.
• Capability to operate in a new venture/greenfield environment.
• Robust issue resolution and strategic judgment capabilities.
• Exceptional information exchange and status updates competencies.
