Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Marine System setups / Engineering project coordinator to assist the organizing and implementation of sophisticated remote marine operations installation processes. The preferred candidate will possess at least five (5) years’ expertise in the remote marine operations petroleum sector industry, with a solid experience during the formation of thorough marine and rigging standardized processes. This position may match a Engineering project coordinator with remote marine operations building expertise or a Master Mariner who possesses transitioned into engineering/project positions and is highly knowledgeable about remote marine operations processes.
Primary duties
- Head the development of installation standardized processes for seaport operations which includes subsea systems, risers, mooring operational structures, umbilicals, topside modules, and floating assets.
- Organize thorough rigging strategies and method statements in adherence with project requirements, safety rules, and remote marine operations industry standards.
- Carry out risk evaluations and HAZID/HAZOP workshops connected with marine and installation initiatives.
- Interface with marine spread vendors, vessel teams, building crews, and customer delegates to guarantee smooth implementation of remote marine operations marketing.
- Establish tools qualifications which includes rigging gear, lifting appliances, deck layouts, and sea fastening structured.
- Organize and evaluate installation drawings, load out strategies, tow-out standardized processes, agile positioning (DP) evaluations, and motion evaluation.
- Organize seaport operations from organizing through implementation, which includes assist during load out, transportation, and remote marine operations installation.
- Support to logistics organizing, planning, interface management, and marine quality assurance methods.
- Verify that every standardized processes are conforming with industry guidelines (IMCA, DNV, API, ISO, etc.), classification society qualifications, and internal Quality assurance/Health, safety, and environment rules.
- Assist the evaluate and red line of vendor standardized processes and offer technical input during project implementation and close-out.
Credentials and Expertise
- Bsc in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, or associated discipline) OR Certification of Ability as Master Mariner (STCW II/2) with engineering project expertise
- At least of5 years related experience in remote marine operations petroleum sector installation projects
- Established history in getting ready remote marine operations installation and rigging standardized processes
- Deep knowledge of seaport operations, lifting methods, hydrodynamic forces, and vessel conduct
- Understanding with remote marine operations building tools (e.g., A-frames, cranes, winches, lifting beams, subsea deploying operational structures)
- Competence in MS Workspace and capability to read and analyze CAD drawings (expertise with AutoCAD or Navisworks is a plus)
- Expertise operating with or directing marine spreads which includes DSVs, building vessels, pipelay vessels, and anchor handlers.
Essential skills:

- Skilled speaker with capability to organize cross-functional teams and vessel crews
