Finance Manager at a Reputable Engineering & Asset Integrity Services Company - PG Consulting Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

Our customer is looking for to employ a Chartered Finance Manager to supervise all accounting and finance processes within the organization of companies, preserving divide accounts for the Group. He will also make sure that we adhere with all statutory & lawful qualifications to operate in Equatorial Guinea.

Finance Management:

• Ensure the periodic balance check of all ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Assemble the organization’s every month and every quarter management documentation to the MD which includes: Wage processing Transaction entry Accruals Management Sales Evaluation Profit & Loss
• Financial statement
• Money movement
• Evaluate & Evaluation of end of month financials
• Financial matching documentation
• Audit/ adherence documentation

Resource control:

• Verify that every organisation assets are tracked and precisely accounted for.
• Ensure the tangible asset register is handled and preserved with full compliance to “tangible asset register standardized process”. Track and track tools register for consentience with records.
• On a every month basis ensure the general ledger is balanced to the assets register. Advise when an asset needs to be sold off or replaced i.e. vehicles etc.

Rule & Statutory Adherence:

• Make sure that all every month taxes are paid on time which includes but not limited to INSESO, IRPF, FP, IVA, Withholding Taxes etc.
• Make sure that all yearly taxes are filed and paid on time which includes CMF, DEF etc.
• On an yearly basis resolve gross wages, group tax, wage processing tax, etc against general ledger for evaluate by Directors.
• Collect and collate all necessary recordkeeping in preparedness and project setup of organisation tax return & audited.
• Upon demand, execute specified elements of the organization tax return for evaluate by external accounting officer.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.
• Must be a member of the ACCA.
• At least 10 years of expertise in Petroleum sector Industry.
• Valid international passport.
• Practical role that requires expertise in a financial executive position.
• Practical understanding of accounting discipline which includes financial accounting, adherence status updates and financial planning in addition to operational structures development and advancement is crucial.
• Computer literacy particular letter of recommendation to Office productivity software Word, Excel, Power Point, with an accounting bundle like Sage, Peachtree or Quickbooks, and selected position specific software.
