Position Overview
This position will be in charge of entire organizing, implementation, supervising, and dispatch of the Ibom International Hospital Project, making sure it meets scope, financial plan, timetable, and quality benchmarks while managing all operational directs. Goal: Productively oversee the daily implementation, inter-team synchronization, and effectiveness tracking of all project phases.
Thorough Duties
- Formulate the full Project Implementation Strategy (PEP), which includes scope definition, timelines, work system failure systems, risk registers, information exchange strategies, and status updates frameworks.
- Oversee the master timetable combining design, procurement, building, initiating, and compliance-related achievements; modify on a weekly basis and circulate dashboards.
- Head interdepartmental alignment among design, building, procurement, finance, and clinical teams to remove bottlenecks and preserve alignment.
- Chair on a weekly basis on-site sessions, design synchronization sessions, and every month guiding group assessments, making sure decisions are recorded and tracked.
- Track and documentation advancement indicators(acquired value, timetable effectiveness index, cost effectiveness index) to top level participants.
- Recognize and report to higher support tier critical risks—setbacks, cost overruns, design concerns, compliance-related violation—and lead risk reduction strategies.
- Guarantee standard management operational structures are embedded and was aligned with through the full scope of project’s Life Cycle.
- Oversee service providers and advisors to guarantee dispatch within binding obligations and ensure adherence to penalties or adjustment orders where relevant.
- Ensure full HSE (Health, safety, and environment)adherence across all work streams with zero tolerance for unsafe procedures.
- Organize and send periodic documentation to the Project Director, highlighting project status, key accomplishments, concerns, and asset needs.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Civil Engineering, Building Management, Architecture, Project coordination, or relevant field.
- MSC (Master of business administration, Master's degree in Project coordination or Engineering) is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent a member of a professional body necessary.
- At least 10 years’ expertise in large-scale structure projects, with a minimum of 5 years in a top level project coordination position.
- Established history in hospital/healthcare facility building or similar sophisticated projects.
- Understanding with FIDIC or equivalent agreement terms and large multidisciplinary advisor/vendor teams.
- Solid understanding of project and risk mitigation strategy structured approaches/software like Microsoft Project, etc
- Outstanding executive guidance, bargain, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
- Financial strategic insight and capability to analyze and oversee financial plans.
- High-level documentation drafting, visual communication, and verbal abilities.
- Expertise in local building rules and healthcare facility guidelines.
