Stock Chain Manager at Worknigeria in Lagos

Position Objective

The Stock Chain Manager is in charge of conceptualizing and carrying out strategic programs to guarantee most effective procurement, logistics, and stock chain effectiveness. This position entails ownership and synchronization of all stock chain processes, which includes vendor management, market evaluation, bargain, and legal adherence to assist business targets productively.

Stock Chain Optimization:

• Recognize risks inside the stock chain and formulate risk reduction plans.
• Organize with cross-operational teams which includes suppliers and freight forwarders to oversee dispatch timelines and recordkeeping.
• Track supplier effectiveness and execute advancement strategies.

Team lead & Development:

• Interview, employ, educate, and train procurement staff.
• Endorse and execute capacity-building plans for team development.
• Carry out effectiveness assessments and promote a high-effectiveness culture.

Credentials

At least a Bsc in Business Management or a relevant field. MSC or applicable qualifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.

Expertise:

At least 15 years of progressive expertise in procurement and stock chain, ideally inside the petroleum sector servicing sector. At least 7 years operating expertise ideally in petroleum sector industry with expertise across procurement, buying, procuring, logistics etc. on technical and non-technical items both local and international.

Competencies & Skills:

• Effective guidance and team lead competencies.
• In-depth understanding of procurement legal provisions and external contracting procedures.
• Competence in bargain, agreement administration, and transport logistics.
• Competence in ISO guidelines and Quality, health, safety, and environment procedures.
• Outstanding documented and spoken communication in English.
• Robust stakeholder engagement and issue resolution abilities.
