Business Development Manager at Lafarge Africa Plc in Ikoyi, Lagos

About the position

The Business Development Manager will be in charge of recognizing, conceptualizing, and coordinating new waste procurement strategic collaborations and maintainable commercial opportunities to assist Geocycle’s growth in line with Lafarge Africa’s circular economy and decarbonization schedule. This position plays a strategic part in pushing alternative fuels and unedited materials (AFR) co-processing, building strong stock chains, and nurturing participant alliances that enable asset effectiveness and ecological stewardship.

Participant Relation:

• Build and preserve solid connections with regulatory bodies, ecological authorities, waste producers, Nonprofit organizations, and long-term viability associates.
• Assist connection management with compliance-related agencies and Nonprofit organizations participated in waste and ecological matters.
• Assist deal discussions, MOUs, and strategic collaborations that advance Geocycle’s maintainable waste management programs.

What we are seeking 

• At least 5 - 7 years of expertise in business development, long-term viability, waste management, or industrial sales.
• Robust business-related strategic insight, participant management, and project implementation competencies.
• Expertise in the cement, energy, recycling, or production operations sector is highly preferred
• Expertise in safety compliance standards
• Robust bargain, logical, and issue resolution competencies.
• Clear articulation and interpersonal abilities.
