Microbiology Manager at Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited in Sagamu, Ogun

Position Overview

We are at present looking for a devoted and meticulous Microbiology Manager to carry out microbiological running test and ecological supervising initiatives at our Spoken communication Reliable Dosage (OSD) facility in Sagamu. This position aids business Quality control microbiology processes to guarantee adherence with internal guidelines and compliance obligations.

Primary duties

• Execute microbiological running test on unedited materials, in-process and finished goods.
• Carry out standard procedure ecological supervising (EM) and staff supervising in cleanrooms.
• Collect and evaluate water samples (e.g., Purified Water/WFI) as part of water inspection procedures.
• Carry out microbial limit tests, bioburden evaluation, and surface/air sampling.
• Help in media project setup and sterility test setup, making sure proper recordkeeping of outcomes.
• Documentation abnormal findings promptly and engage in inquiries and CAPAs.
• Assist microbiology tools servicing & maintenance, calibration, and certification.
• Preserve laboratory logbooks, records, and follow GMP and safety procedures.

Credentials & Expertise

• Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, or associated discipline.
• 1 - 3 years’ practical experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory.
• Practical understanding of EM methods, aseptic managing, and water running test.
• Understanding possessing applicable pharmacopeial and compliance-related microbiological guidelines.
