Job Description

Objective of Task

  • The top level supervisors will mentor, track and oversee all data supervisors during data collection initiatives. The national manager will guarantee adherence of the state level data supervisors to all malaria consortium standard procedures and safeguarding rules.
  • Evaluate to validate that data collected by the state level staff are precise and of good quality.
  • Collect and send all issued project tools (DC voice input devices) offered by Malaria Consortium to the site officers.
  • The top level manager will ensure the data supervisors adhere with professional behavior of analysis, adhere with the MMA analysis structured approach and send precise state level documentation without delay.

Scope of Work

  • Engage in skills development activity of supervisors and enumerators.
  • Engage in pretesting (Aviator running test of resources), discussion of data collection resources, position plays, and site simulation exercises).
  • Deliver promptly assist, guidance and fulfill the role of first line of reach out for state level supervisors on the MMA project.
  • Offer assistance in dealing with any difficulty concerning data oversight at the state levels and report to higher support tier hurdles to MC analysis expert as deemed suitable.
  • The top level manager will supervise 19 state supervisors during the qualitative survey on the MMA survey.
  • Track the supervisors using the MC authorized checklist to evaluate the effectiveness of state level data supervisors on the qualitative survey across the study sites
  • deep, key informant interviews and target group discussions
  • Collate the documentation of all states level supervisors for entry to the analysis expert after making sure their quality and precision.
  • Offer on a weekly basis and end of data collection documentation highlighting the state specific group entry uniqueness or outliers, data collection process, key hurdles, lessons learn and strategic guidance to MC analysis Expert.

Outputs:

  • Send a summary report for all 6 project states activity execution methods and outcomes.
  • Collate the timesheets of the data manager and data officer for entry
  • Verify that every supervisors use suitable status updates to record and send quality state documentation without delay.
  • Guarantee adherence with professional behavior of site data collection strategize sample sizes, and information accuracy.
  • Entry of routine presence to the analysis expert.
  • Concluding consultancy documentation

Credentials and Expertise

  • Applicants must possess a MSC in Statistics, Community health or any medical relevant field with a minimum of 8 years’ expertise post MSC with remarkable expertise in qualitative survey (FGD, KII, and IDIs). Any other postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • Robust evidence of prior involvement in a similar community health analysis, site initiatives and data collection initiatives.
  • Practical understanding of Office productivity software bundle with good documentation skilled in writing.
  • Residency inside the project execution state and accessibility for the duration of the MMA survey exercise.
  • Capability to transparently produce and report results, draw practical findings, make strategic guidance and to organize clearly articulated documentation without delay
  • Expertise in top reviews, surveys, and evaluation is highly preferred.
  • Exhibited documentation skilled in writing for quantitative survey.
  • Applicant must not be a active staff of any government ministry or agency as at the time of hiring process.
  • Understanding with the use of android device for data collection.
  • Practical understanding of the local language of the state, residency inside the state and competence in spoken and documented English Language.
  • Outstanding schedule control, corporate and documentation skilled in writing.
