Position Overview
- The Dangote Sugar Numan Process is seeking a devoted and outcomes-oriented Zonal Manager for the DSR NUMAN Processes to head our processes in the zone and enhance output superiority.
- In this position, you will supervise and oversee all business initiatives, making sure that the organization's strategic targets are fulfilled while preserving a high standard of safety and quality.
- Broad oversight and Management of all Farm Estate zones and to guarantee processes in each site are aligned and organized to offer most effective utilization of Work, materials and tools.
Primary duties
- Prompt implementation of crop management and initiatives like weeding, herbicide application, fertilizer application and middle busting etc. in economical manner to guarantee maximum generation and accomplish the targeted varietal percentage with varietal purity.
- Organizing and implementation of all the initiatives connected with cane generation in the estate.
- Ongoing development in mechanical processes from planting to harvest.
- Efficient utilization of all inputs and labor in the site by inspiring the team to achieve strong results. Constantly strive to enhance methods of development of sugar cane with at least cost.
- Benchmarking the site level initiatives towards repetitive advancement of business efficiencies.
- Assemble and send every month work strategy and every month productivity documentation of his zone to Chief agricultural officer.
- Arranges Land development, Site project setup, planting and servicing & maintenance of sugarcane in all sections in his/her zone. Organizing, project setup & Collection of financial plan and execution of the authorized financial plan productively.
- Co-ordination with other sections of the department to implement the farming processes in time.
- Preserve harmonious connection with the Farm In charges, Supervisory employees, work and their delegate bodies to guarantee uninterrupted processes and high effectiveness. To firmly ensure adherence to adherence with the regulatory framework standard procedures of the organization.
- Ensure proper adherence of all health and safety protocols in the site.
- Preserve rigid regulate and track closely the relation of causal work in the site for agricultural processes to guarantee effectiveness without any malpractices.
- Ensure uninterrupted protection of estate real estate, assets, assets and boundaries.
- Entry of routine documentation on the work advancement.
- Recognition and implementation of development qualifications of team members. Commencement of reward schemes to motivate the team towards completion of strategic objectives.
- Supervising the intensity of pest and disease & implementation of needed regulatory actions.
- Status updates to the Chief Agric., Fixing the KFAs to Farm managers & Agric. officers.
- Oversee and co-ordinate the work of all the Farm In charges, status updates directly to him by setting status updates Standardized processes & data layouts based on their KFAs and Fixation of necessary standard procedures & directions to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
- Oversee and oversee a distinct all farm estate zone to guarantee productive utilization of labourers, materials and tools’s.
- Help the HOD to execute the program and initiatives of the department at the suitable time.
- Make sure that evaluate of soil type are carried out and decide the irrigation cycle necessary, diking, fertilizer & other input needed for maximum result
- Verify that every safety measures are in place and PPE.
- Verify that every SOP are followed.
- Ensure the necessary labor for the department’s initiatives is offered through coordinating with with Human resources department.
