Position Overview

As the Instrumentation Manager at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc Numan Process, you will be accountable for managing every facet of instrumentation operational structures, making sure most effective effectiveness for uninterrupted processes. This position includes design, development, installation, and servicing & maintenance of all instrumentation operational structures used in the processes, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of the facility and conforming to industry guidelines. Responsible for the Process & Servicing & maintenance of Instrumentation section and down time regarding Instrumentation.

Primary duties

• Responsible for the trouble-free process of all Instrumentation tools by embracing the Preventive/predictive servicing & maintenance of the Instruments in the Factory.
• Preserving & trouble shooting of all types of tools of the Factory under his/her section and delivering the Power Production as per the target by embracing and start necessary action and corrective measures.
• Responsible for the preserving and supervising the document of miscarriages and taking corrective actions. Sustains the record cards of the tools in the sections entrusted and keeps the track of servicing & maintenance initiatives participated.
• Strategies & performs the roles informed by the processes team in the sections entrusted for smooth process of the section.
• Shall answer to the Factory Manger any events of Instrument /DCS complications.
• Making sure the standby tools accessibility all time and preserving the critical spares for the tools in respective zone.
• Responsible for the adoption of SOP during process & servicing & maintenance.
• Synchronize with mainly process department along with Sugar Mill & Factory Change Engineers for charming process.
• Implement maintenance and servicing of the Factory Electrical tools during off crop period.
• Arranges the yearly spending financial plan for his/her sections, evaluate the variance (Financial plan Vs Actual) and imitate necessary efficient management system.
• Recognize the development needs to be recognized for his team and draw necessary timetable to import the development at consistent periods.
• Responsible for preserving and making sure safety on all initiatives of process and Servicing & maintenance.
