Position Overview

The Sugar Generation Manager is in charge of the successful processes of the plant which comprise of; broad oversight of all phases of generation, quality assurance, tools servicing & maintenance, procurement, receiving and shipping. Duties also comprise of hiring, recruiting, development of staff and facility/physical plant up-keep. Help in the running of managerial work in the factory in addition to business initiatives directing employees, assigning work hours, and directing financial plans. A Sugar Generation Manager's duties often comprise of estimating production operations expenses, conceptualizing generation plans, and making sure that quality assurance guidelines are fulfilled.

Duties

• To assist in the accomplishment of Organisation objective by making sure all Factory processes run optimally.
• Make sure that Processes/Management are tracked and firmly was aligned with especially in tools/machineries servicing & maintenance, managing of unedited materials and concluding product (Refined Sugar). 
• Take Management decision connected with Factory processes for proper co-ordination in between all sections of the Factory Department supervising, Directing and carrying out all Factory processes structured.
• Accountable for managing the daily processes of the factory, which includes directing employees, supervising generation, and enforcing safety rules. In addition, you will need to guarantee that the factory is running productively and meeting generation targets.
• Ensure on time inventory of necessary chemicals and all inputs for generation. To guarantee Entire Time Effectiveness (OTE %) of greater or equals to 82%.  Also to track and trace the route of sucrose (Pol) and locate loses in By-goods which includes Bagasse, Mud cake and molasses for instant correction.
• Implement factory financial plan and track to guarantee all buy requests for both Local and Overseas items are elevated and make necessary follow-ups to accelerate stock to make Factory prepared for crop field experiments.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance staff to evaluate product uniformity and appearance to guarantee the generation of goods that meet or exceed organisation guidelines and buyer requirements.
• Track process and servicing & maintenance expenditures and analysis ways to reduce cost while preserving product standard and preventing non-operational time.
• Collaborate with QA Manager to timetable human and tools assets to attain adherence on sanitation data records and ecological running test programme.

Qualifications

• Master's degree / Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in applicable Engineering associated courses.
• COREN, NSE or any associated specialist certification is a plus
• At least 20 years of Practical expertise in sugar generation
