The position of a manager includes of monitoring and managing the initiatives of employees inside the environs of the Supermarket. It includes offering clerical and managerial assist and making sure all work processes are done adequately and precisely. A manager is anticipated to help in the implementation of all company processes routine and must be well teached on the rules and effectiveness requirements from all employees of the company.

As a manager you must ensure:

• Verify that every sales clerk and other employees operating within your change are accessible and none is late or absent, documentation at once to the manager for any absence
• Ensure the sales assistants price tag, clean and organize shelves
• That all employees within your change is properly groomed and in a very neat dressed acceptable outfits.
• Must ensure proper use and display of employees I.D Cards active at all times
• Ensure POS, operational structures and printing machines are operational at all times
• Must verify that every regulatory bodies e.g FIRS, AMAC authorities are directed to suitable persons (Technical specialist Dapo)
• Ensure the accessibility of adjustment, POS paper, printing paper and nylon and evaluation slip
• Clients raise a concern should be managed competently and at once or call the managers attention when it is beyond the manager
• Ensure the store and its environs are properly kept neat and tidy at all times (toilet, cobwebs, floors and sinks)
• Check for restock and reorder level and answer to the manager.
• Ensure the security staff operation properly and documentation any form of deviation
• Must ensure vigilance in the store
• Must verify that every appliances in the store are properly functioning and in good state which includes lighting, ACs, CCTVs and answer to the technical team of any system problems.
• Must oversee shelves to guarantee goods does not run out of inventory
• Must be responsible for all initiatives both at the supermarket and pharmacy and answer to the manager where need be
• Must interface with the manager to make sure position effectiveness of the sales senior leaders and billing and cash clerk are of highest standard and must always oversee the teller point.
• Must interface with the next change supervisors and documentation any technicality that requires immediate attention
• Must ensure the bus comes for restocking at the proper time
• Should be initiative-driven in the discharge of his duty
• Manage employees raise a concern and direct raise a concern accordingly to the quota in charge
• Execute all other obligations, tasks, roles as may be allocated from time to time by the COO, Human resources and Manager.
