Boiler Manager - Leading Feed Mills at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Ibadan, Oyo

Position Objective

To oversee the installation, repairs, servicing & maintenance, and business initiatives on installed boilers, air compressors, WTP and other auxiliary tools for maximum capacity utilization.

Responsiblities

• Organize preventive servicing & maintenance, repairs, overhaul of installed Boilers, Air Compressors, WTP and other auxiliary tools’s to avoid system failure of tools.
• Advise on spare parts requirement to avoid wrong spare parts.
• Get information from store on inventory level stock for spare parts.
• Track and examine Boilers, air compressors, WTP and other auxiliary tools and indicators to identify evidence of operating challenges.
• To impact productive system failure diagnosing issues/fault finding of machines and tools.
• Verify binding roles and supplied spares are okay before store accepts it.
• Coordinate between the superior officers and the subordinates to guarantee industrial harmony.
• To oversee the recordkeeping /evaluation of servicing & maintenance parameters for plant advancement.

Credentials / Expertise

•   5 O’ level Credits which includes English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical credentials.
• OND in Engineering or any associated course.
• At least two years of related experience, ideally in the FMCG Industry.

The person must possess:

• Possess good interpersonal and verbal abilities.
• Possess practical experience with preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance of industrial boilers and auxiliary operational structures.
• Possess sound expertise in boiler processes, servicing & maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Be safety-aware and dedicated to upholding workplace safety and wellness rules in all processes.
