Positions & Duties
- Head and oversee all phases of brownfield or greenfield development project—from FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) through to initiating and handover.
- Formulate and preserve thorough project implementation strategies, plans, financial plans, and asset strategies in alignment with strategic targets.
- Organize the initiatives of cross-operational teams which includes engineering, procurement, building (EPC), Health, safety, and environment, subsurface, drilling, and external service providers.
- Execute strong project compliance and regulate frameworks, making sure adherence with within and outside the organization guidelines and rules.
- Supervise agreement administration initiatives, which includes vendor selection, bargain, and effectiveness supervising.
Qualifications
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or a associated technical discipline. A MSC in Project coordination, Engineering, or Business Management (Master of business administration) is a plus.
- At least 15 years of progressive project coordination expertise in upstream petroleum sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a executive team capacity on key capital or greenfield development projects.
- Accreditation in Project coordination (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2®, APM, or equivalent).
- Membership in specialist bodies which includes the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), COREN, or international equivalents is preferred.
- Demonstrable expertise in oilfield development lifecycle (Notions, FEED, EPC, Initiating and Sartup).
- Deep knowledge of project regulates, cost engineering, planning resources (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Ability in reading and interpreting engineering and building drawings and requirements.
- Understanding with Nigerian petroleum sector compliance-related landscape (e.g., NUPRC/DPR guidelines and local content legal provisions).
