OSP Manager - Servicing & maintenance at Kennedia Consulting in Lagos

Objective of the Position

The OSP Manager manages the servicing & maintenance of ipNX fiber optic and civil works inside the outside plant network. The position includes daily management of fiber structure, prompt solution of incidents, preventive servicing & maintenance, precise recordkeeping, and synchronization with clients and local governing bodies.

Primary duties

• Oversee incidents: restore corporate solutions within 3 hours and in-store solutions within 12 hours.
• Implement preventive servicing & maintenance to enhance network reliability and MTTR.
• Audit, collate, and modify precise “as-preserved” fiber network recordkeeping.
• Send on a weekly basis assist documentation for evaluate.
• Activate FOS client requests within 3 days, collect input, and organize post-activation documentation.

Credentials & Competencies

• Academic qualification in Telecoms, Engineering, or Submitted application Sciences.
• 2+ years’ expertise in fiber network deploying & outside plant servicing & maintenance.
• Proven competence in fiber optic structure, FTTx/P2P deploying, and civil works oversight.
• Expertise in ROW authorizing, Health, safety, and environment guidelines, and Nigerian Local Authority qualifications.
• Competence in MS Workspace (Excel, Project), with exposure to AutoCAD/Visio/Geographic information system (preferred).
• Robust logical, information exchange, and analytical abilities.
