Architect at Regeneration DDC in Lagos

Role summary

We are searching for a full time innovative and motivated architect who will strategize formulate and execute building designs. The Architect will be in charge of conceptualizing and demonstrating design proposals, getting ready drawings, requirements, building recordkeeping and coordinating project teams.

Duties

• To be in charge of the assessment of a project from start to finalization, (which includes pre-agreement works like viability assessments, idea development, schematic designs, building recordkeeping, tender process, pre-agreement to post-agreement oversight)
• To be in charge of the project setup of highly thorough operating drawings and requirements and other building documents using software as Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications; AutoCAD, 3DMax, Lumion, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
• To be in charge of the project setup of authorization drawings for entry for statutory authorizations, building authorizations and organizing permissions.
• Collaborate with and organize a team of other experts, which includes building service engineers, building managers, quantity surveyors, architectural technologists and advisors, service providers and other experts in the building industry
• To contribute to task management of the building process, which includes assets, quality, time, information exchange and stakeholder engagement
• Visit to sites to guarantee adherence with architectural drawings, description and finishing and offer initiatives or changes to in-field hurdles
• To generate documentation for every on-site visit and to guarantee the accessibility of architectural drawings on every building on-site.
