Role Overview

TAAS Group of Schools is looking for a dependable, safety-aware, and skilled School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The preferred candidate will be in charge of safely transporting students to and from school, making sure timeliness, safety, and adherence with all traffic rules.

Primary duties

• Safely operate and lead the school bus along allocated routes.
• Ensure the safe pickup and drop-off of students at appointed sites.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections to guarantee the bus is in proper operating requirement.
• Preserve order and discipline among students while on the bus.
• Follow all traffic legal provisions, school rules, and transportation safety standard procedures.
• Documentation any accidents, concerns, or setbacks promptly to the school management.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, and in safety-compliant requirement.
• Preserve precise records of routes, fuel usage, and incidents.

Qualifications

• Expertise: At least 5–10 years of specialist pushing expertise.
• Residence: Required location Ibadan, ideally inside or close to the Apata region.
• Possession of a valid driving permit and a clean pushing document.
• Demonstrated expertise pushing buses, vans, or similar vehicles.
• Good expertise in Ibadan road networks, especially around Apata.
• Capability to preserve patience and discipline when managing children.
• Robust dedication to timeliness, safety, and duty.
• Must be physically suit and warn.

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous expertise as a school bus driver or in a similar position.
• Exhibited reliability, integrity, and competence.
• Clear expression and people skills.
