Job Description
The Position
- The Manager, Site Processes is in charge of assisting all Evidence Action's M&E site processes for programs inside the West and Central Africa Sub-region (Nigeria, Liberia and Cameroon).
- This is an exciting role that includes monitoring programme analysis and learning initiatives, managing MLE assist for programs inside the sub-region, top the development and evaluate of supervising strategies, assisting analysis and learning projects and synchronization between MLE and government participants and other executing associates as needed.
- A critical part of delivering this is coordinating operational structures to guarantee that the quality of data for all Evidence Action sub- regional programs meet a high level of standard.
- Please note that this is a agreement role for a duration of one year.
Site Process Team Management:
- Oversee the yearly MLE team work strategies in line with defined scope of work and key focuses for the programs in the sub region. Track initiatives against the work strategize making sure supervising and status updates timelines are fulfilled
- Prepare yearly programme MLE financial plans for scope of work defined by the MLE Plan Directs to properly financial plan for organized MLE initiatives for all programs in the sub-region. Supervise MLE expenditures as authorized in the financial plan, and, routinely, check that actual expenditures vs assigned financial plan are within a maintainable range
- Organize the need evaluation, hiring process and orientation of MLE employees in the sub region in partnership with the MLE executive guidance, Human resources Manager and the necessary delegates from programme teams
- Oversee country MLE team endeavors making sure adherence to and the premium quality execution of all Monitoring and evaluation initiatives and that they meet all set outputs
- Operating with Programme and MLE teams, recognize zones for capacity development, career advancement and ability building and formulate strategies to handle those zones for advancement for MLE teams inside the sub-region
- Establish and preserve clear and complete status updates design frameworks and timelines to meet within and outside the organization status updates needs
- Assist the development of MLE industry standards inside the company and coordinate lesson exchanging across Evidence Action geographies
- Oversee and support to creative operational structures and resources to educate employees as stipulated in the MLE employees development procedure.
Other:
Execute any other M&E and learning obligations as may be necessary and allocated by the manager to assist the team's divided targets.
Key Effectiveness Indicators
- Surveys and other data collection tasks are designed jointly with MLE-S
- Uninterrupted iteration and advancement of conceptualize operational structures, procedures, standardized processes and exchanging of applicable response to improve standards development
- Data collation vendors meet the data collection obligation as agreed
- Prompt collection of supervising data for all programs in the sub region
- All country programs collect and documentation data electronically on accessible operational structures e.g. CTO, DHIS2
- Sustain and/or enhance the quality of data collected for programme M&E
- Servicing & maintenance of guidelines and industry standards for survey roll out from design to development, data collection and status updates
- Productive and efficient management of budgetary assets with full compliance to the finance regulatory framework
- Make educational materials accessible to programme team for evaluate and strategic judgment after supervising initiatives
- On-time delivery of activity advancement documentation i.e. every Monday of a new week
- Uninterrupted growth in team building, partnership and management abilities as evidenced by response from direct documentation, supervisors, external participants and other assist teams
- Site Process team members' career advancement targets are fulfilled yearly within cause
- Site Process's teams possess the right tools and materials to carry out their initiatives and proper responsibility is preserved.
Qualifications
- MSC in a applicable field with robust community health, development economics, statistics profile;
- 7+ years of expertise of Monitoring and evaluation programs in the West and Central Africa region especially ( Nigeria, Liberia and Cameroon)
- Robust specialized abilities and capacity, with a minimum of 4 years of practical expertise coordinating and operating directly with large teams to execute data collection procedures
- Fluency "capable to express oneself easily and articulately" drafting and, reading
- Competence in speaking in French and English language is a key requirement. We promote French speakers to submit application, as their linguistic ability are especially applicable to this position's nature and duties
- Demonstrable expertise operating with teams in different countries to execute surveys, assist programme execution and other data collection tasks
- Expertise using electronic data collection channels, particularly survey CTO
- Clear articulation and people skills.
- Open to travel on short notice, to juggle duties, to operate in ambiguity and to address guidance from various suppliers.
- Naturally inquisitive and curious, meticulous and structured;

Operating terms:
This role will require managing closely with the Monitoring and evaluation team members inside the West and Central Africa region and worldwide workspaces with changing time differences, languages and organizational culture. It also requires commute across country programs.
