Finance Accounting Manager at CypherCrescent Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers

About the position

We are looking for a highly proficient and meticulous Finance Accounting Manager to supervise and oversee the organization’s financial processes. The preferred candidate will be in charge of preserving precise finance records, making sure adherence with statutory qualifications, getting ready financial statements, and assisting management with strategic financial findings.

Primary duties

• Preserve precise finance records and supervise all financial financial record.
• Organize balance sheet and income statement which includes Financial statement, Profit & Loss, and Money movement documentation in line with IFRS.
• Guarantee promptness and precise submitting of VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory taxes.
• Oversee financial plans, track variances, and assist strategic budgeting.
• Supervise wage processing calculation, statutory conclusions, and adherence with work legal provisions.
• Execute internal regulates, identify financial risks, and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax governing bodies, compliance-related bodies, and financial institutions.
• Track expenses, offer financial evaluation, and endorse cost-saving measures.
• Organize bills, track outstanding invoices, and check in on outstanding payments.
• Offer financial findings and consultative assist for executive review.

Credentials

• Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Accounting.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN or ACCA) is a plus.
• At least 4 years’ expertise in a top level accounting position.
• Expertise in the petroleum sector sector is preferred.
• Must possess a clean specialist document with no record of fraud or violation.

Necessary Competencies:

• Competence in Microsoft office productivity suite applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Robust financial planning and cost leadership abilities.
• Efficient executive guidance, information exchange, and interpersonal abilities.
• High professional conduct, honesty and reliability, and meticulousness.
• Competence and practical experience with finance Management software (e.g. Sage).
• Deep comprehension of Nigerian tax legal provisions and compliance obligations (FIRS, State IRS, CAMA, Finance Acts, CBN, SEC).
• Expertise in wage processing management, pension, NHF, and statutory conclusions.
• Expertise in Sage Application is a plus.
