The room maintenance services manager plays a vital function in preserving the operations excellency of the generation plant by upholding the highest hygiene and sanitation guidelines. This role is instrumental in making sure that every corner of the facility, which includes high-traffic generation zones, sensitive hygiene zones, employee welfare spaces, managerial workspaces, and external premises, meets or exceeds stringent cleanliness and safety benchmarks. The manager is assigned with carefully organizing, managing, and monitoring all sanitation initiatives, making sure adherence with compliance-related food safety standard procedures and organisation rules.

Team Management:

• Educate, and oversee room maintenance services employees, making sure they comprehend and follow plant sanitation standardized processes.
• Formulate and preserve a cleaning timetable for routine, on a weekly basis, and periodic cleaning duty.
• Allocate duty and assess the effectiveness of room maintenance services employees, offering response and additional development where necessary.
• Preserve a positive and specialist work environment, supporting collaboration and effectiveness among employees.

Ongoing development:

• Recognize avenues to improve sanitation procedures and endorse process enhancements.
• Keep current with market trends and advancements in cleaning methods, resources, and goods.
• Work alongside other departments to execute cross-operational hygiene programs.

Credentials and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Tech, Industrial Hygiene, Ecological Science, Microbiology or a relevant field.
• At least 2-5 years of supervisory expertise in room maintenance services, ideally in a food processing environment.
• Deep understanding of hygiene guidelines which includes HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
• Expertise in coordinating cleaning tools and sanitation chemicals.
• Competence in using cleaning planning software or resources is a plus.
