Role summary

We are looking for an skilled Road construction operations manager who is accountable for managing sedifferent highway road building projects. You will head the project from commencement to close, recruiting subcontractors, operating with vendors and tracking stock of tools and materials. You should be in-depth knowledge about rules, licenses and project coordination structured approach. You should also work well with others, be highly structured and meticulous, deliver on time and strive to stay within financial plan.

Duties

• Establish the project scope
• Produce a building estimate based on a material takeoff (MTO)
• Produce and oversee a building project financial plan
• Produce a building project coordination strategy
• Bargain with general service providers and subcontractors to acquire lucrative building agreements
• Formulate a building timetable, with project outputs and achievements
• Keep stock of resources, tools and machinery
• Allocate assets which includes building materials, building workers and tools
• Assign and oversee asset logistics
• Produce status documentation for project participants
• Supervise the effectiveness of the general vendor, base manager and other members of the building team
• Acquire building licenses, permits and meet code rules
• Preserve workplace safety and wellness guidelines

Education & Development

• Bachelor’s and Masters Academic qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Management or relevant field
• Solid understanding of building management industry standards
• Fluency in software programs connected with building management, which includes project coordination software
• Ongoing with compliance standards connected with building

Work Expertise:

• 8 years of project coordination expertise in the Highway building industry or building.
• Years of building leadership background coordinating financial plans and plans
• Prior expertise coordinating a building on-site
