Position Overview

We are looking for a Treasury Manager with robust expertise in the microfinance banking sector to supervise liquidity management, financing plans, financial funding organizing, and financial risk mitigation strategy. The preferred candidate will possess a clear comprehension of capital management, and legal adherence in a financial solutions environment.

Primary duties

• Oversee the company’s routine liquidity and money movement to guarantee process effectiveness.
• Formulate and implement short- and long-term financing plans to assist lending processes.
• Enhance asset and liability roles while making sure efficient risk and interest rate management.
• Track and oversee bank connections, loan facilities, and capital market initiatives.
• Guarantee adherence with CBN standard procedures and other compliance-related bodies regarding treasury processes.
• Organize consistent documentation on money movement, financing status, and financial projections for the CFO and top management.
• Head treasury-associated internal regulates and audit preparedness methods.

Applicant background

• Bsc in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field. Specialist qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTP) are a desirable asset.
• 5 - 7 years of related experience in treasury or finance positions, ideally inside a Microfinance Bank or financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of public sector lending and its effect on liquidity organizing.
• Expertise in cash management, ALM (Asset-Liability Management), and legal adherence.
• Robust logical, strategic judgment, and verbal abilities.
• Competence in treasury software and financial operational structures.
