Fast tracked SVN - Project coordinator - Yobe at International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Nigeria

Circumstance

Operating under the entire oversight of the Protection/MHPSS Program Manager and closely operating with the Project supervisor, TRD and other applicable teammates, the successful applicant will be in charge of helping with the reintegration of Protection and MHPSS solutions into long-lasting initiatives initiatives executed in Yobe State 

Credentials Education:

Secondary school certificate with five years of associated expertise or,  Bsc in Community-related Sciences, Education, and other human development, or a relevant field with three years of associated expertise 

Expertise:

• At least five (5) years related experience in a similar role, ideally inside the United Nations and the International Humanitarian Site 
• The capability to productively liaise with victims of trafficking.
• The capability to adjust and perform in high-stress situations and robust people skills.
• The capability to coordinate group psychosocial initiatives with victims of trafficking and caregivers with an comprehension of group dynamics and methods.
• A learning mindset and readiness to grow competencies and expertise in the protection of victims.

Competencies:

Personal attributes: Team player, adaptable, network-builder, capable to manage pressure well.  Robust computer competencies on MS word, Excel

Languages:

• For all candidates, fluency in English is essential (spoken communication and documented), and expertise in the local language is a plus
• IOM’s formal languages are English, French and Spanish.
• Competence of language(s) necessary will be particularly assessed during the selection process, which may comprise of documented and/or spoken communication evaluations.
