Manager, project at FPG Technologies and Solutions Limited in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled Manager, project with over five years of proven competence in the Information Tech industry, coordinating sophisticated projects for top industries and large entities within and outside Nigeria. The preferred candidate will merge in-depth understanding of IT initiatives with exceptional executive guidance and stakeholder engagement competencies to guarantee on-time completion of projects that meet business targets. This position requires a robust blend of strategic thinking, implementation superiority, and customer connection management, with a track document of supplying enterprise-grade IT initiatives.

Primary duties

• Head comprehensive management of IT projects, which includes organizing, implementation, supervising, and closure.
• Establish project scope, targets, outputs, and success evaluation benchmarks in partnership with participants.
• Oversee participant relation, making sure alignment of business requirements with technical dispatch.
• Direct and organize cross-operational project teams which includes developers, engineers, business analysts, and vendors.
• Organize and oversee thorough project strategies, timelines, financial plans, and asset distributions.
• Track project effectiveness using suitable operational structures, resources, and methods; documentation advancement to executive team.
• Recognize, evaluate, and minimize risks, concerns, and dependencies across various projects.
• Guarantee adherence with corporate guidelines, compliance, and industry standards in project dispatch.
• Promote usage of project coordination structured approaches (Nimble, Waterfall, or Hybrid as necessary).
• Oversee vendor connections and third-party service vendors to guarantee quality dispatch.
• Capture lessons learned and execute process enhancements for uninterrupted project superiority.

Expertise:

• At least 5 years’ demonstrated expertise as a Manager, project in the Information Tech industry.
• Successful track document coordinating enterprise-level IT projects for large entities or top sectors, both within and outside Nigeria.
• Expertise in IT initiative deploying, operational structures consolidation, digital transformation, or large-scale software execution projects.

Competencies & Skills:

• Solid understanding of IT initiatives, enterprise operational structures, and emerging technical solutions.
• Competence in project coordination resources which includes MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Clear articulation, visual communication, and recordkeeping competencies.
