Job Description
Position Overview
This position is in charge of organizing and carrying out on-ground promotion programs that directly lead sales volumes and channel penetration for DAG’s 2W, 3W, tyre, and lubricant businesses across Nigeria and West Africa. The concentration is on site activations (park by park initiatives, service camps, etc.), buyer schemes, POP (Point-of-Buy) materials, and in-depth rural market relation — from okada/keke riders and fleet owners to park chairmen, tyre retailers, and truck users. The role needs robust site presence, outstanding vendor and team management, and an capability to convert site findings into implementable promotion plans.
Market & Buyer Findings:
- Build and constantly modify client personas for:
- Okada/keke riders and dispatch/logistics operators.
- Park chairmen and fleet owners.
- Tyre retailers, truck operators, and long-haul transport users.
- Carry out market mapping and rural penetration studies to recognize new catchment zones, under-served LGAs, and development potentials.
- Collect and evaluate product response (e.g., tyre effectiveness, lube usage) and contest intelligence to assist product development and sales plan.
Vendor & Agency Management:
- Recognize and oversee vendors for POP generation, merchandising, and site activations.
- Bargain expenses, track quality, and guarantee promptness dispatch of marketing assets.
- Supervise ground supporters and activation teams, making sure corporate identity communication tone uniformity and productive asset deploying.
Credentials & Competencies
- Bsc in Promotion, Business Management, or relevant field (Master of business administration preferred).
- 5–10 years’ expertise in site / BTL promotion within automotive (2W/3W), tyres, FMCG rural promotion, or associated industries.
- Verified ability to design and execute large-scale on-ground activations and trade promotion programs.
- Deep knowledge of rider, fleet-owner, and in-store tyre ecosystems in African markets.
- Outstanding vendor bargain and financial plan leadership abilities.
- Skilled in MS Workspace (Excel, PowerPoint) and promotion data analysis.
- Effective guidance, information exchange, and project coordination abilities.
- Readiness to commute extensively to rural and semi-urban markets.
Essential skills:
- Practical site onboarding and enthusiasm for rural market development.
- Robust business-related strategic insight with a outcomes-driven mentality.
- Capability to bridge promotion with sales implementation.
- Robust interpersonal and public involvement competencies (park chairmen, fleet owners, vendor networks).

Operating Terms:
Base: Chief Workspace (Lagos) with comprehensive site commute across Nigeria (70% of time). Operating Hours: Monday–Saturday, with adaptive schedule for weekend/market-day activations.
