Position Overview
To assist in-field assessment and assessment of installation, initiating, and running test of Photovoltaic solar operational structures at 371 health facilities across Nigeria to guarantee that solarisation work carried out by service vendors meets UNICEF guidelines and qualifications for quality.
Outputs
Location review Documentation, organizing the outcomes of in-field assessment using the assessment template offered by UNICEF for each of solarised health facility that the advisor engineers will be allocated for assessment.
Language:
Fluency in English.
Work Expertise:
- At least 5 years demonstrated expertise in the solar energy site, especially on energy evaluation, assessment, location review, setback evaluation and post installation, initiating and running test evaluation.
- Verified ability to assessment and assess the solar module installation and initiating in asset-limited settings.
- Capability to collect and evaluate data, impact corrections, and organize technical documentation.
- Capability to operate in an international or diverse environment. Prior experiences inside the UN system are a robust asset.
- Competence in computer applications which includes Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good logical, technical documentation-drafting, and verbal abilities.
