Finance Manager at VIS Ideal Concept Limited in Ikorodu, Lagos

Role summary

The Finance Manager will be accountable for managing all financial initiatives of the organization, which includes finance reporting, financial planning, money movement management, and adherence. The preferred candidate must be grounded in financial accounting, skilled in management account project setup, and proficient in application of modern financial system.

Duties

• Head the project setup of every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement in line possessing applicable accounting guidelines.
• Formulate and oversee financial plans, projections, and financial projections to assist strategic decisions.
• Organize thorough management accounts, financial difference assessment, and profit margin documentation for executive guidance.
• Preserve precise and prompt records of all financial financial record.
• Supervise outstanding bills/receivable, wage processing, bank adjustments, and tax estimates.
• Guarantee adherence with compliance-related, tax, and status updates obligations (e.g., FIRS, LIRS, CAC).
• Oversee internal regulates and streamline financial methods for process effectiveness.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Offer financial findings and evaluation to assist business expansion and financial funding decisions.
• Execute and enhance the use of financial system for instantaneous finance Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (Master of business administration or Master's degree is a plus).
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA) is compulsory.
• At least 7 years’ post-service experience expertise in finance/accounting, ideally in property, building, or facility management sectors.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and Nigerian tax rules.
• Proven competence in management account project setup and money movement predicting.
• Competence in financial system which includes QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Records.
• Outstanding logical, corporate, and verbal abilities.
• High level of honesty and reliability and meticulousness.
