Generation Manager - Wheat Milling at Ascentech Services Limited in Sagamu, Ogun

Role summary

The Generation Manager (Wheat Milling) is accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the milling plant, making sure productive generation of premium quality flour goods in line with organisation guidelines, compliance obligations, and client needs. The position includes coordinating people, methods, and tools to enhance productivity, reduce non-operational time, and preserve rigid quality assurance throughout the generation cycle.

Duties

• Strategize arrange, and supervise all milling processes to attain routine, on a weekly basis, and every month generation targets.
• Ensure most effective utilization of wheat, minimizing waste while preserving regular product standard.
• Oversee and organize the initiatives of mill operators, change supervisors, and production worker.
• Track plant effectiveness, tools effectiveness, and diagnose issues business concerns to reduce non-operational time.
• Execute and ensure adherence to health, safety, and ecological (HSE) guidelines inside the milling facility.
• Collaborate with the QA team to guarantee compliance to product requirements and food safety rules (ISO, HACCP, etc.).
• Oversee unedited material (wheat) usage, track inventory levels, and coordinate with procurement for prompt replenishment.
• Organize and evaluate generation documentation (KPIs, OEE, returns, non-operational time, etc.) for management evaluate.
• Lead ongoing development programs in process effectiveness, energy utilization, and cost reduction.
• Educate, mentor, and assess production worker to build a proficient and inspired staff.
• Organize servicing & maintenance plans with the engineering team to guarantee minimal disruption to generation.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Tech, or relevant field.
• At least 5 – 8 years’ expertise in wheat milling or flour generation, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership/leadership position.
• Solid understanding of milling tech, plant methods, and generation organizing.
• Understanding with food safety and quality benchmarks (HACCP, ISO, GMP).
• Competence in generation status updates and use of Enterprise platform planning or mill management operational structures.
• Exhibited executive guidance, issue resolution, and strategic judgment competencies.
