Role summary

We are looking for an skilled Manager, project to supervise building projects from idea to finalization, making sure on-time completion, financial plan compliance, and quality benchmarks. The successful applicant will head cross-operational teams, oversee participants, and lead projects to successful finalization.

Duties

  • Formulate project strategies, which includes timelines, financial plans, and asset distribution.
  • Establish project scope, targets, and outputs.
  • Head and oversee cross-operational project teams, which includes building experts, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure clear communication, partnership, and problem solving.
  • Recognize, evaluate, and minimize project risks, which includes safety, quality, and ecological risks.
  • Formulate and execute risk mitigation strategy plans.
  • Build and sustain connections with customers, architects, engineers, service providers, and compliance-related governing bodies.
  • Ensure participant requirements are fulfilled and concerns are settled.
  • Track milestone tracking, recognize deviations, and execute corrective actions.
  • Ensure project stays on timetable, within financial plan, and meets quality benchmarks.
  • Guarantee adherence with building rules, industry guidelines, and organisation rules.
  • Execute quality assurance measures and safety procedures.
  • Formulate and oversee financial plans, track expenditures, and ensure cost-performance.
  • Offer consistent project status reports to participants, which includes advancement documentation and problem escalation.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Building Management, Civil Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Membership in applicable specialist bodies is a plus (e.g. COREN, MNSE)
  • Expertise with project coordination software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Expertise in building industry-specific software (e.g., Autodesk, Revit).
  • Demonstrated expertise in building project coordination (10+ years).
  • Solid understanding of building methods, rules, and industry guidelines.
  • Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and analytical abilities.
