Business Development Manager, Emerging Payments at Interswitch Group in Lagos

About the Position

• Supply the Emerging Payments business income target, delivering 60% CAGR growth over 5 years.
• Lead implementation of the Emerging Payments corporate plan and strategy in alignment with the Financial Solutions group’s entire organizational approach.
• Implement go-to-market plans for emerging payment goods in Nigeria and across Africa, partnering with within and outside the organization participants.
• Collaborate with other departments to deepen/diversify current businesses and formulate new ones to attain income increase.
• Improve service dispatch by interacting with participants, exchanging status reports, and delivering achievements.
• Implement Sales Penetration, Product Development, and Market Development programs in line with enterprise strategic targets.
• Offer cross-operational assist to Sales, Execution & Dispatch, Project coordination, Goods, and Technical groups.

Sales and Account Management:

Supply income and margin growth by partnering with sales on penetration, product development, and diversification. Preserve industry connections to defend current business and unlock fresh opportunities.

Participant Partnership:

Work alongside participants and assist teams to supply attractive tech initiatives across Africa. Navigate compliance-related environments while nurturing long-term alliances.

Qualifications Education:

• Bsc in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant field (Master of business administration preferred).
• Strong insight of payment operational structures: card networks, ACH, RTP, and emerging payment technical solutions.
• Expertise in legal adherence (PSD2, GDPR, PCI DSS, AML/KYC).
• Specialist qualifications (preferred): PMP, CBAP, Card and Payment Specialist (In-store Banking UK).

Expertise:

5–7 years in the payments industry, ideally in a reputable financial institution or Financial technology organisation.
