Scrap Recycling Manager at Rotic Aluminium Extrusion in Awka, Anambra

Position Overview

As a Scrap Recycling Manager, you will supervise the sorting and assessment of aluminium scrap in the recycling yard. You will head a team to ensure adherence to rigid quality benchmarks, prevent malpractice, and protect the organization from losses.

Primary duties

• Oversee routine scrap recycling and sorting processes.
• Examine incoming scrap loads to identify and remove rejects (iron, harmful substances, etc.).
• Track weighbridge activity to guarantee rejects are not passed off as usable scrap.
• Head, educate, and discipline sorting employees to follow proper recycling standardized processes.
• Keep precise records of accepted and rejected scrap.
• Document discrepancies or suspected malpractice for executive review at once.
• Guarantee adherence with safety and room maintenance services guidelines in the scrap yard.

Qualifications

• At least Higher national diploma in any discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or factory expertise (production operations, recycling, or FMCG preferred).
• High honesty and reliability and zero tolerance for dishonesty.
• Robust meticulousness and capability to recognize anomalies in materials.
• Good executive guidance, document-keeping, and status updates competencies.
