Position Objective
A In-store Manager is in charge of conceptualizing and carrying out trade promotion plans that lead corporate identity visibility, product accessibility, and sales increase in in-store environments. The position bridges the disparity between business promotion & sales, making sure that corporate identity strategies are productively translated into in-store trade programs that optimize buyer relation and retailer assist. He will collaborate with the items listed business associates: Promotion, Sales & Factory
In-store Implementation:
- Strategy and implement retail campaigns, activations, and merchandising initiatives.
- Ensure planogram adherence, POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) deploying, and advertising displays at in-store outlets.
- Oversee in-store brand identity projects which includes shelf signage, end-cap displays, gondola brand identity, and digital screens.
- Track implementation quality across in-store touchpoints through site visits and market audits.
Trade Relation:
- Build robust strategic collaborations with in-store clients to secure visibility and prime shelf space.
- Bargain with retailers for trade campaigns, joint business strategies, and category development programs.
- Design reward schemes for retailers and distributors to lead product push.
Certification / Expertise
- Bsc in Promotion, Business Management, or relevant field (MSC preferred).
- 3–5 years of expertise in Trade Promotion, In-store Promotion, or Sales (FMCG expertise is highly valued).
- Established history of coordinating in-store trade promotion programs across multifaceted channels.
- Possess prior expertise operating inside the Northern Nigerian market, which includes understanding with its buyer dynamics and allocation landscape.
Skilled Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of in-store trade dynamics (modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale, e-commerce).
- Expertise in shopper promotion principles and buyer conduct at the point of sale.
- Remarkable abilities in merchandising, in-store campaigns, and trade talks.
- Robust logical capability to analyze market data, track ROI, and derive practical findings.
- Project coordination and planning abilities to manage various in-store marketing.
- Clear expression and people skills for retailer relation and internal partnership.
