Procurement Manager at Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited in Garki, Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly structured and initiative-driven Procurement Manager to supervise the procurement, buying, and stock chain processes for our efficient food dining venue. The preferred candidate will be in charge of making sure the prompt procurement excellent quality food ingredients, wrapping materials, tools, and other inventory at the best possible prices to assist day-to-day activities across all outlets.

Primary duties

• Formulate and execute efficient procurement plans and rules.
• Acquire and bargain with dependable suppliers to acquire premium quality goods at attractive prices.
• Track stock levels and collaborate with outlet/store managers to projection stock needs.
• Produce and oversee buy orders, agreements, and vendor agreements.
• Guarantee promptness dispatch of inventory to all dining venue sites.
• Preserve precise records of buys, pricing, supplier effectiveness, and stock levels.
• Assess supplier effectiveness routinely and endorse enhancements as required.
• Oversee procurement financial plan and regulate expenditure to guarantee cost-performance.
• Stay informed on industry trends, price fluctuations, and possibility stock chain risks.
• Guarantee adherence with food safety and compliance guidelines during procurement.
• Documentation routinely for executive review on procurement effectiveness and hurdles.

Credentials and Competencies

• Bsc in Business Management, Stock Chain Management, or relevant field.
• At least 3–5 years of expertise in procurement, ideally in the food service or service sector.
• Robust bargain, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Competence in Office productivity software and procurement software/resources.
• Expertise in food safety guidelines and stock chain industry standards.
• Capability to operate in a team and oversee various key focuses.
• High level of honesty and reliability, responsibility, and meticulousness.
• Effective guidance competencies and the capability to oversee vendor connections.
