Position Overview

The Finance & Accounts Manager will supervise all financial processes of KCTC, making sure precision, transparency, and adherence with both statutory and worldwide healthcare finance guidelines. This position is in charge of financial planning, finance reporting, money movement management, and assisting strategic strategic judgment by offering financial findings. By embedding and making sure strong adherence with international industry standards, and building trust through financial stewardship, the Finance & Accounts Manager plays a main responsibility in making sure the long-term viability and growth of KCTC.

Primary duties

  • Formulate, execute, and preserve financial rules, operational structures, and internal regulates in sync with worldwide healthcare industry standards.
  • Organize and show prompt, precise balance sheet and income statement, management documentation, and money movement projections.
  • Head yearly financial planning, predicting, and financial difference assessment in partnership with departments.
  • Oversee outstanding receivables, outstanding bills, wage processing, and patient invoicing methods.
  • Guarantee adherence with Nigerian tax rules, pensions, PAYE, and statutory filings while embedding transparent, modern accounting guidelines (e.g., IFRS).
  • Supervise audits (within and outside the organization) and ensure prompt execution of strategic guidance.
  • Formulate financial projections to mentor financial funding, growth, and cost-effectiveness decisions.
  • Execute efficient treasury and money movement management procedures.
  • Track procurement methods by checking financial capacity, cost-performance, and supplier responsibility.
  • Execute strong internal risk regulate, making sure skills development and career progression.
  • Offer financial findings to the CEO and Board to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) necessary.
  • MSC in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management (Master of business administration) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, healthcare finance, and finance Management operational structures.
  • At least 7–10 years progressive finance and accounting expertise, which includes a minimum of 3 years in a executive position.
  • Expertise in healthcare, large service entities, or global/NGO environments highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, audits, and status updates for sophisticated entities.

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Robust financial evaluation, status updates, and predicting abilities.
  • Competence in financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in healthcare income cycles and patient invoicing operational structures preferred.
  • Outstanding corporate and management abilities, with the capability to motivate and oversee teams.
  • High level of honesty and reliability, responsibility, and specialist ethics.
  • Robust interpersonal, bargain, and verbal abilities.
  • Capability to convert financial data into meaningful business findings.
  • Firm resolution-making competencies and the capability to shape strategic targets.
