Role description
We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Project scheduler with a solid experience in the Petroleum sector industry. The successful applicant will be in charge of conceptualizing, supervising, and preserving project plans, making sure projects are carried out on time, within financial plan, and in line with binding and compliance obligations.
Primary duties
- Formulate, modify, and preserve thorough project plans using organizing software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
- Work alongside PMs, engineers, procurement, and building teams to guarantee alignment of delivery schedules with implementation plans.
- Track development, recognize variances against baseline plans, and endorse corrective actions to reduce risk setbacks.
- Organize and problem on a weekly basis and every month project organizing documentation which includes advancement curves, labor histograms, and acquired value evaluation.
- Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and participants to collect organizing data and modify plans as appropriate.
- Carry out timetable risk assessment and advise management on possibility effects and risk reduction plans.
- Assist project expense management by combining timetable with financial plan and capacity planning.
- Guarantee adherence with customer qualifications, organisation guidelines, and Petroleum sector standardized best practices.
- Contribute to task evaluate sessions and show timetable effectiveness and projections for executive review and customers.
- Educate and train entry-level planners and assistants on scheduling systems and methods.
Credentials & Expertise
- Bsc in Engineering, Project coordination, or relevant field.
- At least of10 years’ proven experienceas a Project scheduler in the Petroleum sector sector (EPC, remote marine operations, subsea, or associated projects).
- Expert level inPrimavera P6and MS Project.
- Solid understanding of project organizing principles, critical path evaluation, acquired value management (EVM), and asset leveling.
- Understanding with Petroleum sector program duration: FEED, EPC, building, initiating, and handover.
- Outstanding logical, information exchange, and status updates competencies.
- Capability to operate productively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Membership of a specialist body (e.g., PMI, AACEI) is a plus.
