Position Overview

The Finance Manager will play a vital function in coordinating the financial health within the organization and its project sample companies. The preferred candidate will be accountable for managing budgeting, evaluation, and status updates while making sure adherence, efficient risk mitigation strategy, and sound financial funding plans.

Primary duties

  • Formulate and execute financial plans, rules, and standardized processes that match with the company’s growth targets.
  • Oversee financial planning, predicting, and budgeting methods across project sample companies and projects.
  • Organize prompt and precise financial statements, statements, and evaluation for top level management, investors, and participants.
  • Supervise treasury, money movement management, and capital distribution to enhance liquidity and financial funding returns.
  • Guarantee adherence with statutory, compliance-related, and tax qualifications across various jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with financial funding and consultative teams to evaluate project viability, carry out financial forecasting, and assess financing systems.
  • Assist capital lifting initiatives, which includes investor relations, financial due diligence, and project setup of financial funding materials.
  • Execute efficient internal regulates, risk mitigation strategy frameworks, and cost optimization plans.
  • Head and train finance team members, nurturing an environment that fosters superiority, responsibility, and ongoing development.

Credentials & Qualifications

  • Bsc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field (MSC or Master of business administration preferred).
  • At least 7 – 10 years of progressive expertise in finance management, financial funding, or consultative positions, preferably within financial solutions, financial funding banking, or development finance.
  • A member of a professional body (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) necessary.
  • Established history in coordinating large-scale projects, capital lifting, and cross-border financial processes.
  • Deep knowledge of African markets, development finance, and community influence investing.
  • Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and financial forecasting competencies.
  • Exhibited executive guidance and team leadership background.
  • Exceptional information exchange, visual communication, and participant relation competencies.
