Assistant Team supervisor, Roving at Cooperazione Internazionale - COOPI (6 Openings) in Nigeria

Position Overview

Under the direct oversight of the project/programme Head, The Team supervisor Support, Information exchange and Expertise Management specialist is in charge of the management and the proper execution of COOPI’s MasterCard Foundation project in Yobe State. He arranges and observes the work of other employees site officers devoted to these initiatives and he is in charge of qualitative and scheduled reporting on various parts of the project.

Specific Targets:

• Assist the team supervisor in executing and managing routine interventions.
• Assist in synthesising programs’ accomplishments and conceptualizing strategic documents which includes problem summaries and other expertise
• goods in line with WFP qualifications.
• Assist in conceptualizing information exchange materials (e.g. flyers, effect stories, online news) for WFP from information and data
• offered by program employees which includes documentation, overviews, demonstrations, and verbal inputs.
• Ensure proper expertise management of CP’ initiatives in line with WFP qualifications.
• Prepare and convey sensitization messages to project participants
• Execute other associated obligations as necessary and as may be requested by the team supervisor.

Key focuses of the Role:

The Support Head will propose prompt and productive response to the hurdles faced during each disbursement (cards management, operational base concerns, vendors’ concerns…). The Support Head will actively support to the evaluate and the advancement of all the structured approach documents for a top-quality supervising of the initiatives. The Support Head manages and supervises the Livelihoods team in the execution and the supervising of the food guard and livelihood initiatives and works in close partnership with Support Directs from other departments to promote the holistic method.

Wanted Expertise

Tertiary institution Academic qualification / Higher national diploma in Agricultural Economics and Extension, Rural Development, Development Studies, Community-related Sciences or a associated academic discipline with 4 – 5 years previous expertise operating in developmental and crisis projects.
