Generation Manager at Nairametrics Financial Advocate Limited in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Overview

We are looking for an skilled and meticulous Generation Manager to join our team and supervise the smooth implementation of our video productions.

Primary duties

• Supervise the comprehensive generation process for all NM TV video projects.
• Formulate and oversee thorough generation plans, financial plans, and asset strategies.
• Oversee the generation team, which includes cinematographers, video editors, sound engineers, and other crew members.
• Coordinate with internal departments (editorial, analysis, business development, digital media) to align video content with corporate identity plan and marketing targets.
• Verify that every technical tools (cameras, lights, microphones, etc.) is accessible, operational, and properly preserved.
• Execute and ensure adherence to industry standards for video generation, which includes lighting, sound, set design, and post-processing guidelines.
• Preserve effective communication between pre-generation, generation, and post-processing teams.
• Ensure productions are fulfilled on time, within financial plan, and meet Nairametrics’ quality benchmarks.
• Organize guests’ plans and oversee agreements or release forms where relevant.
• Track market trends and endorse creative approaches to enhance NM TV’s video generation quality and effectiveness.
• Oversee connections with external vendors, self-employed workers, and service providers as needed.
• Offer consistent advancement and effectiveness documentation for executive review.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Media, Film, Communications, or associated fields
• At least 3 - 5 years’ demonstrated expertise in generation management (ideally in media, TV, or film).
• Robust corporate and management abilities.
• Clear articulation and interpersonal abilities.
• Competence in generation software/resources and understanding with camera, lighting, and sound tools.
• A innovative eye with meticulousness.
