IP Closed-circuit television & Automatic control Technician / IT & Relationship building Assist at Cover Alarm Systems Limited in Abuja (FCT)

Role summary

We are looking for a proficient and devoted IP Closed-circuit television & Automatic control Technician / IT & Relationship building Service officer to join Cover Alarm Operational structures Ltd. The preferred candidate will be in charge of the installation, setup, and servicing & maintenance of IP Closed-circuit television operational structures, alarm panels, authorization, and home/workspace automatic control initiatives, in addition to offering IT and relationship building assist to the organization and its customers. This position requires specialized skill, solution-oriented capability, and a service-oriented mindset to guarantee dependable guard and automatic control initiatives.

Status updates & Adherence:

• Send on a weekly basis documentation on all system setups, service calls, and IT/network initiatives.
• Guarantee adherence with organisation guidelines, safety rules, and standardized best practices.
• Protect privacy of customer and organisation data at all times.

Qualifications

• OND/Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in IP Closed-circuit television installation, setup, and diagnosing issues.
• Practical experience with alarm operational structures, authorization, and automatic control devices.
• Robust relationship building expertise (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
• Understanding with resources which includes crimpers, testers, and cable management operational structures.
• Capability to read and analyze technical diagrams and documented guides.
• Outstanding issue resolution, information exchange, and client support competencies.
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Readiness to commute for project implementation when necessary.

Qualifications 

• At least OND/Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, ICT, Computer Engineering, or relevant field
• Demonstrated expertise with Closed-circuit television installation, network setup, and IP camera operational structures
• Solid understanding of VMS channels (especially HikCentral) and NVR/DVR setups
• Capability to diagnose issues relationship building concerns (IP dealing with, port transmitting, etc.)
• Capability to read and analyze wiring diagrams and technical documented guides
• Physically suit and capable to operate in site terms
• Clear articulation and status updates competencies
• Required location Abuja and be open to travel nationwide for tasks
• Qualifications in guard operational structures or relationship building (Cisco certified network associate, Hikvision Accredited, etc.) are a plus
• Practical experience with cutting-edge surveillance technical solutions
