Role summary

We are looking for a devoted and skilled Health & Safety supervisor to join our team. The successful applicant will be in charge of making sure a safe and conforming work environment by carrying out risk evaluations, conceptualizing and executing safety rules, development employees on safety procedures, investigating incidents, supervising adherence, and preserving precise safety records. This position plays a key part in nurturing a robust safety culture across the company.

Duties

• Carry out consistent risk evaluations and safety audits across the company.
• Formulate, execute, and evaluate office workplace safety and wellness rules.
• Offer safety development and consciousness programs for employees.
• Explore accidents, incidents, and near misses, and endorse corrective measures.
• Check adherence with compliance obligations and organisation guidelines.
• Preserve precise records and documentation connected with workplace safety and wellness initiatives.
• Advance a initiative-driven safety culture throughout the office.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Work-related Workplace safety and wellness, Environmental public health & Safety, Environmental public health, Safety Management, Community health, Industrial Hygiene, Ecological Science, or Engineering.
• At least 3 years related experience in a workplace safety and wellness position.
• Specialist qualifications which includes Accredited Safety Specialist (CSP), Accredited Work-related Health officer (COHS), OSHA, or NEBOSH are necessary.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and ecological rules and industry standards.
• Clear articulation and development competencies with the capability to shape and engage employees at all levels.
• Robust logical and issue resolution abilities.
