Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will head the strategic growth of the organization’s commute advising solutions across Nigeria and the diaspora. The preferred candidate must have a robust sales strategic insight, proven building relationship competencies and in-depth understanding of the Nigerian commute landscape, which includes student visa methods, work licenses and corporate commute needs. The position is critical to conceptualizing strategic collaborations and individual customers while rising corporate identity visibility and income.

Primary duties

  • Formulate and implement Nigeria-specific business expansion plans targeting student commute, tourism, immigration service, and corporate commute management.
  • Head customer purchase endeavors by compelling directs for bulk commute and visa aid offerings.
  • Produce and oversee strategic collaborations with embassies, commute agents, airlines and logistics companies.
  • Carry out market analysis to recognize lucrative niches which includes migration practices, summer holiday tours and relocation bundles to Canada, the UK, and the UAE.
  • Collaborate with the visa, ticketing and recordkeeping teams to guarantee smooth service dispatch.
  • Organize with the digital promotion team to run locally applicable marketing across Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Ads.
  • Organize business proposals, demonstrations, MOU outlines and documentation.
  • Track KPIs which includes head transformation, every month income, retention rate and client fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor's degree/ Higher national diploma academic qualification in Business Management, Promotion, Tourism, or relevant field
  • At least 3–5 years of demonstrated expertise in business development, ideally in commute, tourism, or immigration solutions in Nigeria.
  • Sound comprehension of Nigerian customer conduct regarding student visas, relocation, family tourism and religious commute
  • Capability to navigate both official (e.g., embassies, corporate customers) and informal (e.g., youth-guided startups, individual questions) sectors.
  • Skilled in Office productivity software, CRM channels, and online efficiency apps (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).
  • Outstanding spoken and documented English.
  • Strategic sales and transaction-closing competencies.
