Laundry Manager at JIJEDAPT Human Resources Consult Limited in Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja - Lagos

Role description

The Laundry Manager will be accountable for managing the daily processes of the laundry facility, making sure productive, premium quality cleaning and finishing of linens, uniforms, and visitor garments (if relevant). This position requires effective guidance, business organizing, and process optimization competencies to preserve high guidelines of hygiene, quality, and prompt service dispatch.

Quality assurance:

• Examine finished laundry items for cleanliness, appearance, and quality.
• Handle and settle client service issues or concerns connected with laundry solutions.
• Keep documentation of impaired or lost items and execute corrective measures.

Stock & Asset coordination:

• Track and oversee stock of detergents, chemicals, and other inventory.
• Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of laundry machines and tools.
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to preserve adequate inventory levels.

Status updates & Management:

• Preserve routine/on a weekly basis/every month documentation on laundry result, expenses, and asset utilization.
• Track productivity and formulate plans to enhance process effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Finance/Processes team to oversee unit-specific financial plans.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Education: At least Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in hotel management Management, Business Management, Process management, or relevant field.
• Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise in laundry processes, ideally in hotel management, healthcare, or industrial laundry settings, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership/executive position.
• Solid understanding of laundry chemicals, tools, and fabric care.
• Outstanding executive guidance, corporate, and verbal abilities.
• Capability to oversee a team in a dynamic environment.
• Robust analytical abilities and meticulousness.
• Competence in MS Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic stock management operational structures.
