Job Description

Responsibilites

  • Head and oversee a team of Electrical Technicians and other staff, allocating duty and supervising their effectiveness.
  • Analyze engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics to strategy and implement work.
  • Supervise the installation, running test, and servicing & maintenance of all electrical tools, which includes motors, generators, power allocation operational structures, and lighting.
  • Carry out consistent inspections of work in advancement to guarantee quality and adherence with project requirements.
  • Organize with other discipline supervisors (e.g., Instrumentation, Mechanical) to guarantee smooth consolidation of work initiatives.
  • Organize and oversee work licenses, risk evaluations, and other safety recordkeeping for all electrical duty.
  • Diagnose issues and settle system problems that arise during building or servicing & maintenance.
  • Preserve a thorough document of all work carried out, which includes routine documentation, man-hours, and material usage.
  • Offer technical direction and on-the-position development to team members.
  • Verify that every team members follow all safety procedures, which includes the use of personal protective tools (PPE).

Qualifications

  • A applicable a member of a professional body or technical academic qualification in electrical engineering is essential.
  • At least 10 years of expertise in electrical work, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership position particularly in an remote marine operations petroleum sector environment, with a established history of operating on the Bonga FPSO.
  • Demonstrated expertise with electrical operational structures for servicing & maintenance, building, and turnaround projects.
  • The applicant must hold valid remote marine operations qualifications which includes BOSIET, OSP, and a valid medical certification.
  • This role requires operating in a difficult remote marine operations industrial environment on channels or vessels.
  • Solid understanding of electrical operational structures, power allocation, and motor regulate.
  • Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and people skills to oversee and motivate a team.
  • Robust capability to analyze sophisticated engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Outstanding issue resolution and diagnosing issues abilities.
  • Thorough expertise in electrical health and safety protocols and industry codes (e.g., IEC, API).
  • Robust corporate and recordkeeping competencies.
  • Readiness to operate in a challenging remote marine operations environment.
