About the Position

• On-site Management: Supervise routine building initiatives at filling station sites and small civil projects, making sure compliance to project strategies, timelines, and requirements.
• Project Synchronization: Formulate and preserve project plans and financial plans using Microsoft Project; organize with service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee asset accessibility and on-time completion.
• Quality and Regulatory adherence: Carry out consistent on-site inspections to recognize and minimize safety risks, making sure adherence with Nigerian safety rules (e.g., DPR standard procedures for filling stations) and ecological guidelines.
• Recordkeeping and Status updates: Organize and preserve precise records of on-site initiatives, employee presence, and advancement documentation; combine cost and asset data from SAP for participant status updates.
• Participant Communication link: Serve as the primary point of reach out between on-site teams, PMs, customers, and compliance-related bodies (e.g., Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation for fuel station projects); offer frequent updates and settle concerns promptly.
• Issue resolution: Handle in-field hurdles, which includes material setbacks or system problems, and report to higher support tier sophisticated challenges to top level management as required.
• Team Oversight: Oversee and direct building teams, which includes laborers and subcontractors, making sure duty are allocated and finished productively; execute disciplinary measures as needed.

Legal conformity:

Verify that every building initiatives adhere with local building codes, ecological rules, and industry guidelines specific to filling stations and small civil projects in Nigeria.

Credentials

• Education: Bsc in Civil Engineering, Building Management, or a relevant field.
• Expertise: 1–3 years of expertise in civil building, on-site oversight, or project synchronization, ideally with exposure to filling station building or small structure projects in Nigeria.
• Qualifications (preferred but not always necessary):
• IPMA Level C (Accredited Manager, project) or Project coordination Specialist (PMP) Foundation/CAPM (Accredited associate in project coordination), presenting skilled in coordinating projects with limited difficulty.
• OSHA safety qualifications or equivalent for on-site regulatory adherence.
• Industry-specific qualifications (e.g., Nigerian Society of Engineers or COREN registration for Nigeria-based positions).
• Specialized abilities:
• Competence in Microsoft Project, SAP, or similar project coordination and Enterprise resource planning software for planning and expense monitoring.
• Understanding with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other design/planning resources for interpreting plans and project strategies.
• Interpersonal abilities: Clear expression, issue resolution, and planning abilities; capability to head multicultural teams, perform in high-stress situations, and oversee various duty productively.
