Explanation

The Case Worker manages and arranges all GBV initiatives in women and girls safe space (WGSS), evaluating women and girls’ instant needs, conceptualizing instant care and treatment targets, executing and supervising women and girls’ care action strategies. In fulfilling these obligations, the GBV Caseworker must ensure full adherence with MI and donor rules, which includes managerial, HR, finance, accident and threat control, and logistics standardized processes in the office.

Your Duties

• Organize and oversee tasks in Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) while preserving routine reach out with locally-driven workers for case recognition and assist.
• Offer complete case management, which includes intake evaluations, action organizing, client engagement, closure, and basic encouragement to customers and families in line with IASC MHPSS standard procedures.
• Carry out individual evaluations to decide material support, dignity kits, NFIs, or transport assist for medical treatment as necessary.
• Coordinate client recommendations to suitable solutions, accompany customers as required, and strengthen referral pathways through service mapping and synchronization with participants.
• Head on a weekly basis case management sessions, ensure precise recordkeeping, secrecy, and documentation crisis cases promptly to the Protection Officer.
• Assist status updates, supervising, and assessment through every month activity documentation, on-site visits, and recognition of service differences and quality concerns.
• Build capacity of Protection Voluntary assistants and key group gatekeepers, carry out consciousness sessions, and comply firmly to Malteser International’s code of carry out and protection SOPs.

Your Profile

• At least two years work expertise with international/national Nonprofit organizations and/or local governing bodies in the Nigerian circumstance with the same role
• Sensitive to gender equality and GBV concerns, dedication toward diversity and addition
• Outstanding listening competencies are crucial
• Stress-resilient to be capable to cope with due dates and sophisticated challenges
• Outstanding speaker, comprehension of cross-cultural and sensitive concerns with proficient in documented and spoken English, Hausa, and any of (Mandra, Glavda)
• Capability and inspiration to build networks of trust with the group and work well with local governing bodies, local key stakeholders and the local group
• Computer literate (Word and Excel).
