About the Position 

The CPIE Officer is in charge of designing, executing, and monitoring child protection and addition plans to guarantee the safety and equitable involvement of children in all programme initiatives. This position includes conceptualizing rules and procedures to ensure protection of children, supporting their rights, and nurturing welcoming environments that cater to the multifaceted needs of all children. 

Main Duties

• The CPIE Officer will be in charge of the items listed, which includes those not listed but are extensions of those expressly stated: 
• Organize with Caseworkers to offer complete Child Protection Case Management Solutions to Unaccompanied, Detached, and Other At risk Children in line with the Case Management Standard Operating Standardized processes.
• Carry out evaluations to recognize child protection risks and matters in crises.
• Track the circumstance of children and families, which includes possibility threats to their well-being.
• Work alongside various participants, which includes regulatory bodies, and locally-driven entities, to organize child protection endeavors.
• Support for the rights and needs of children, making sure their protection is prioritized in crisis-management and recovery endeavors.
• Directly engage with adolescent boys and girls and parents as necessary, and collaborate with trains to guarantee the quality of the programme.
• Stand for the company in the child protection sector in synchronization sessions and forums.
• Assist children and their families' psychosocial (physical, community-related, emotional) well-being. 
• Educate Voluntary assistants and group members on child protection principles and procedures.
• Engage with group members to promote understanding of child protection concerns and build their capacity to recognize and address protection matters.
• Coordinate the involvement of children and their caregivers during planning phase and execution of child protection programs.
• Advance locally-driven child protection mechanisms and assist their long-term viability.
• Ensure suitable child-friendly spaces and time plans are tailored to the physical and mental needs of the children based on age group and gender.
• Oversee project execution to guarantee on-time completion of project initiatives (for example, supervising against personal achievement management work strategies).
• With assist from the Organizer, formulate every month and every quarter strategies and costed strategies, supporting towards an entire thematic programme strategy. 
• Send thorough on a weekly basis and every month activity documentation to the Programme Organizer
• Repeatedly preserve referral pathways of project sites.
•  With assist from the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Officer put in place responsibility initiatives for the project, making sure that response from children and their families are assessed in project design. 
• Oversee project execution to guarantee on-time completion of project initiatives (for example, supervising against personal achievement management work strategies).

Credentials

• Bsc in Community-related Work, Child Development, Human Rights, or a relevant field.
• Applicable accreditation or development in child protection, addition, or child rights.
• Demonstrated expertise (a minimum of 2 years) in child protection, addition, or associated fields, with a deep knowledge of child rights concerns and industry standards.
