Wage processing Manager at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Nigeria

Position Overview

To supervise and oversee the comprehensive wage processing process, making sure employees are paid precisely and on time while conforming to all lawful and organisation rules and vertical peculiarities.

Duties

• Coordinating the full scope of wage processing cycle, which includes calculating salaries, overtime, conclusions, and making sure precise and prompt payments. 
• Oversee and mentor the wage processing team, entrusting duty, offering development, and carrying out effectiveness assessments.
• Collaborate with Human resources, finance, and other departments to settle wage processing-associated concerns and ensure smooth data exchange. 
• Adept at utilizing and preserving wage processing software and operational structures, which includes status reports and information accuracy.
• Organize and produce wage processing documentation, transaction entries and balance sheet and income statement for applicable departments, in addition to offering data for audits and other adherence purposes.

Qualifications

• Bsc in accounting, Business Management, HR, Finance, or a relevant field.
• A member of a professional body is a plus.
• At least 5–7 years of wage processing expertise, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a leadership or executive wage processing position.

The Person Must:

• Possess a good verbal and professional writing competencies.
• Solid understanding of wage processing methods, statutory conclusions, and adherence rules.
• Outstanding executive guidance and team lead competencies to oversee, train, and assess wage processing employees.
• Meticulousness and precision in managing sensitive wage processing data and financial financial record.
• Robust issue resolution and critical thinking.
