We are seeking an skilled and strategic Manager of Trading & Liquidity to supervise FX processes and liquidity management across African emerging markets. This position will merge practical implementation with executive guidance, concentrating on pushing effectiveness, coordinating risk, and strengthening our footprint in sophisticated and continuously adapting environments. The preferred candidate will bring in-depth market expertise, a deep knowledge of liquidity and hedging plans, and the capability to mentor a team while preserving top level connections with financial institutions and associates in the region.

Duties What will I be doing?

• Head FX trading and liquidity management initiatives across African markets.
• Design and execute hedging plans to oversee currency and liquidity exposures.
• Evaluate macroeconomic and geopolitical factors affecting EM currencies.
• Oversee short-term liquidity positioning across entities.
• Enhance implementation quality using trading channels, direct counterparties, and market data resources.
• Team up with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Local Market teams to align plan and implementation.
• Preserve solid connections with banking associates and trading channels.
• Implement FX processes and formulate plans using stablecoins, where relevant.
• Organize and show market status reports, trading effectiveness, and threat level documentation.
