Job Description
Overview
The Human resources Manager is in charge of conceptualizing and coordinating all personnel processes for the Ibom International Hospital Project, making sure that the project attracts, conceptualizes, and retains the right skilled to supply on its targets. The position manages staff planning, hiring process, orientation, results tracking, workplace engagement, welfare, adherence with work legal provisions, and Human resources regulatory framework execution. The Human resources Manager make sure that Human resources operational structures, methods, and systems are established and productively handled to assist a high-effectiveness, conforming, and engaged project staff.
Hiring process & Recruitment:
- Organize comprehensive hiring process, from role summary development to marketing, interviewing, and selection.
- Ensure transparent, merit-based recruiting methods in sync with project needs.
- Build skilled pipelines for critical positions, which includes technical and expert healthcare-associated roles.
Orientation & Onboarding:
Formulate and oversee organized orientation programs to combine new recruits into the project team. Offer onboarding on project goals, rules, adherence guidelines, and office culture.
Results tracking:
- Execute a results tracking system with clear KPIs and OKRs in sync to project outputs.
- Organize periodic effectiveness appraisals, making sure fairness and responsibility.
- Assist line managers in effectiveness mentoring and dealing with underperformance.
Learning & Development:
Recognize development needs across the project staff and organize targeted capacity-building plans. Assist skills development for project employees, concentrating on executive guidance, adherence, and specialized abilities.
Key Outputs
- Human resources plan and labor strategy in sync to project phases.
- Suit-for-objective Human resources rules, methods, and recordkeeping.
- Fully resourced project team with productive hiring process cycles.
- Transparent results tracking and evaluation system.
- Adherence with all statutory and work obligations.
- Employee relation programs and reduced attrition.
- Precise and prompt Human resources documentation to project executive guidance.
Expertise:
- 7–10 years’ Human resources leadership background, with a minimum of 3 years in project-based environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in setting up Human resources operational structures, rules, and teams from scratch.
- Expertise in building, healthcare, or large structure projects highly preferred.
Competencies & Skills:
- Solid understanding of Nigerian work legal provisions and Human resources industry standards.
- Outstanding executive guidance, interpersonal, and dispute settlement competencies.
- Robust corporate and organizing competencies.
- Competence in HRIS operational structures and MS Workspace resources.
- High honesty and reliability, secrecy, and specialist judgment.
