Procurement Manager at Amo Byng Nigeria Limited in Awe, Oyo

Position Overview

The Procurement Manager is in charge of top and coordinating all procurement and procurement initiatives for Amo Byng Nig Ltd, making sure uninterrupted stock of unedited materials (e.g., maize, soya, additives, focuses), wrapping materials, and solutions at most effective cost and quality. The position ensures adherence with organisation rules, builds robust supplier networks, and aids process effectiveness of the feed mill through strategic procurement procedures.

Stock & Stock Guarantee:

• Collaborate with the stock and generation teams to preserve adequate inventory levels.
• Expect unedited material shortages and proactively acquire alternatives to prevent generation non-operational time.
• Execute efficient procurement organizing and planning to match with generation needs.

Team lead & Partnership:

• Head, train, and formulate the procurement team for strong results.
• Work alongside Finance, Generation, Logistics, and QA teams for smooth processes.
• Lead an environment that fosters responsibility, honesty and reliability, and effectiveness inside the procurement unit.

Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Procurement, Stock Chain Management, Business Management, Agriculture, or relevant field.
• 7 – 10 years of expertise in procurement, with a minimum of 3 – 4 years in a executive position (ideally in feed mill, FMCG, agribusiness, or production operations).
• Membership or accreditation in procurement is a plus.
• Solid understanding of agricultural goods markets, logistics, and supplier networks.
• Established history in planned procurement, deal discussion, and supplier connection management.
